Helping others with Autoimmune Diseases Focusing on Lupus, Sjogren's, and Chronic Lyme

Professor / Researcher

Welcome to my blog – The Autoimmune Professor. The goal of this blog is to help those diagnosed with autoimmune disorders manage and understand their diseases in a healthy way, both physically and mentally. I am currently using functional medicine along with mental health strength to manage my symptoms and hopefully go into remission.

I am a professor of psychology with a doctorate in psychology, a doctorate in health sciences, and a masters in global health. I am also currently in school getting a doctorate in exercise science.

I hope that my research can help others in the way that it has helped me by sharing what has been studied along with what I have found that works and what I have found that doesn’t work. While I may have affiliate links throughout my posts, I will never recommend anything that I have not tried myself and feel that it has helped in this journey. Additionally, I am not opposed to conventional medicines, I just have not utilized them yet.
